MAIN PRIORITIES IN THE GAME
OFFENSIVE PRIORITIES
1.TO SCORE
The main goal of offensive priorities is to score a goal - shoot/finish
2. TO WIN THE SPACE
Before the shot itself, you must take a favorable position on the field from which you can/know how to score. Before the shot itself, you must win space for the shot.
3. TO CREATE THE SPACE
The opponent is defending the advantageous space for the shot, so before you can win any space, you must first create space. Through manipulation and movement, you force the opponent to leave the space, and then you want to win this space.
4. AWARENESS TO DEFENCE
While shooting, winning space and creating space, you have to stay alert defensively - anticipate, read your attackers, find a balance between taking risks and being responsible, and attack in a way that doesn't allow you to score from a transition.
DEFENSIVE PRIORITIES
1. PREVENT OPPONENT TO SCORE
A combination of the player's individual qualities - how well you can block a shot, how strong you are in a duel, or how fast you are, but also how well you work in the line with space and how well you can take away space from your opponent.
2. WIN THE BALL / PRESS / FAST RYTHM
When you have managed to prevent your opponent from scoring, you need to win the ball. This is a combination of individual quality - how quickly you can approach your opponent or how you can pressure them into making a mistake. It is also important how the entire line works together to put the opponent under pressure.
3. DEFEND THE MIDDLE / STAY COMPACT / SLOW RYTHM
If you are unable to win the ball and your opponent has pressed you in defense, you need to stay together, be compact and not let your opponent into the most dangerous space - the middle!
4. AWARENESS TO OFFENCE
If you defend well and your opponent doesn't find a weak spot, you will manage to win the ball - ATTACK! Be alert on the attack and attack when your opponent is not formed in defense.
